and 2 makes 3 is a storytelling duo who perform in schools, libraries and for all kinds of celebrations. They are a husband and wife team with many years of experience as elementary school teachers, having specialized in art, drama and music. Eliud and Merideth Nieves have many years of experience as educators and performers. Eliud, born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico was raised in New York City. Merideth, born in Queens, NY, was raised in the suburbs outside of New York City. The two met as elementary school teachers. They have since moved to Central Florida, where they raised their children and continued their careers as teachers and performing artists.
